Tierra Santa
About
Meaning "Holy Land," Tierra Santa is one of the first religious theme parks in the world. Opened in 2001, it is based on the city of Jerusalem from 2,000 years ago, featuring period buildings and figures from the biblical era. The park celebrates and depicts many significant Christian events, including the Last Supper, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection. It even has its own Wailing Wall, and employees dress in traditional Middle Eastern robes.
