Benito Quinquela Martín is one of Argentina's most admired artists, and there is no better place to appreciate his life than at El Museo Benito Quinquela Martín. Located in the La Boca neighborhood, the museum features works by various Argentine artists as well as numerous pieces by Quinquela Martín himself.

Quinquela Martín lived in La Boca, and his work documented daily life in the neighborhood during the early half of the 20th century. His paintings capture the main activities of the area at the time, including shipyards, dock workers, and boat building. Through his vibrant and dynamic style, he portrayed the bustling life of the ports and the everyday lives of the people. He played a significant role in reviving the area, as evidenced by the colorful backdrop of El Caminito.

The museum is spread over several floors, and the third floor houses Quinquela Martín's studio, where he both worked and lived.
