El Jardín Rosedal is a beautiful rose garden located within Buenos Aires' main green space, Bosques de Palermo (Palermo Woods). The gardens were designed by Carlos Thays in the early 20th century and have retained much of their original splendor. El Rosedal is one of the best-kept public spaces in the city, boasting over 1,000 different species of roses. The gardens are partially surrounded by a large lake, providing a picturesque backdrop. Within the grounds, you will find the Garden of Poets, which features busts of well-known writers, including William Shakespeare and Jorge Luis Borges.
