Shopping Abasto is a large shopping mall located in the Abasto area. The mall is housed in a renovated Art Deco market building that dates back to 1893. It covers four large floors and includes 250 stores, a large food hall, a Neverland kids' play park, and a cinema complex. Abasto mainly features fashion stores selling international labels like Zara, Adidas, Nike, and Lacoste, as well as local designer names. Shopping Abasto is within a 15-minute journey of downtown.

The Abasto building was originally a bustling fruit and vegetable market and was one of the main commercial hubs of activity in Buenos Aires. Due to its importance and architectural splendor, many well-known figures are said to have visited the building, including Albert Einstein, Jorge Luis Borges, Aristotle Onassis, and Tango Legend Carlos Gardel.

Within a 5 minute walk from Abasto Shopping is the Museo Casa Carlos Gardel. This is a museum within the former house of King Of Tango, Carlos Gardel lived. Subway:
Linea B - Get off at Carlos Gardel Station. The museum is approximately a 5-10 minute walk from here.
Bus:
Routes 24, 26, 29, 41, 62, 64, 68, 71, 99, 110, 115, 118, 124, 132, 145, 168, and 188 pass through or close to Abasto.
